On April 9, during our spring break,we found out that we would be having a baby girl! She is now due ANY day now. :) As if this news wasn't exciting enough, Matt received the news in August that he had passed all of his FS tests and had 2 days to decide whether or not to accept the offer. We of course were very happy to accept and then started a waiting game for finding out where in the world they would send us. During what the FS calls "Flag Day" we arrived in a small gym and were going to be told in front of the whole FS class and families where we would be living for the next 2 years. They called each student up to the front of the gym and handed them a flag signifying their posting. After the nail-biting experience, Matthew was the 5th to last person, out of a class of 100, to be called to the front. We were so surprised when he was handed the Manila flag! So now, here we are in November, getting ready for the baby and our ship out date some time in February. Lots of changes, but we are excited for the adventures!
